Hi! March 2004 ended on a high note for me when I cracked through my little egg and joined planet earth. Now March 2008 my planet tipped a bit and dumped me out of my home but I landed in a great Mickaboo foster home. My name is Skittles just like the candy that is many colors. I'm many colors and pretty sweet too. I am getting close to macaw adolescence and now is the time to set good boundaries with me so I don't become wild and crazy when the hormones kick in. I have a habit of screaming so need someone with experience to help me find my indoor voice. I've been taking food very gently from my foster dad and we have started a conversion from seed to pellets. Nourishing food and lots of spray baths will begin to make my beautiful feathers shine. I'll be writing some updates soon. Thanks for stopping by. Update: 3/18/08 Just thought you'd like to hear from me. I've settled into my new digs and my foster dad is teaching me new things every day. Funny thing happened - I don't have a screaming problem in this home!
