UPDATE 6/17/04: Buzz's foster Dad's daughter, Natasha, adopted Buzz. Here's the latest! "I think Buzz is pretty happy. He is still very wary of people. He'll let Natasha give him head scritches, shoulder surfs, and showers. He's very skittish around anyone else. He does know step-up very well. He's currently living in Natasha's room, and spends a lot of time out of his cage sitting on the window sill watching the world go by. The window is on the second floor, and looks out over the garden. Buzz practices singing in the morning and afternoon, and sits on Natasha's shoulder when sheís practicing violin. No duets yet!î Not all cockatiels are shy and retiring. I'm vocal and assertive. My name is Buzz and I want you to listen. First, you have to hear the sad story of the skunk attack on my family and me. I survived unhurt, but my dad and sister each lost a leg. It has taken a while for me to get over the experience and all the changes in my life, but now I'm full of life and song. My foster mom laughs when I get in my siblings' faces to make sure they listen to me. Take my word for it; I can be a very entertaining guy. Do you want to hear the latest buzz from Buzz? Let's talk. Notice: Cockatiels are flock animals, and most of them are much happier when they live with at least one other cockatiel! Because of this, unless a household currently includes another cockatiel, Mickaboo usually requires that a minimum of two cockatiels be adopted. Print this page |
