Well don't you think I am just a handsome normal grey cockatiel? My foster mom seems to think so! Well at least now she does. I was rescued from a shelter and was downright filthy. My foster mom immediately gave me a bath and I am good as new. When you have been through what I have been through you tend to shy away from humans. And that is exactly what I do. Hands scare me and if they get too close I will hiss and nip to warn you. I hear that with a little love and patience, guys in my situation usually do come around. So there is hope! Well I knew that when I was rescued from that shelter. I prefer seed to anything else of course, but my foster mom is working on a diet change for me. I love to look in the mirror and see the fellow who stares back at me. My foster mom says I whistle, sing and even when making "noise" I am quiet! I am very new to Mickaboo...haven't even been in my new home for a week yet. So please check back often for updates on my progress. Or contact Mickaboo NOW and take me home! Notice: Cockatiels are flock animals, and most of them are much happier when they live with at least one other cockatiel! Because of this, unless a household currently includes another cockatiel, Mickaboo usually requires that a minimum of two cockatiels be adopted. Print this page |
