Update 2/9/2008: Hi! I am just one fabulous bird and my foster family totally loves me! I am friendly, interactive, and chatty ? and I know how to say 'bye 'bye' 'shove off' when my foster parent on the phone. I'm a very quiet sun conure. I am doing SO WELL! My foster dad & mom are impressed with how friendly I am. I love to have attention and call out if I feel neglected - not a big screaming fit but just enough so they can't ignore me. I like to chat when I 'm very happy & and am getting the special treat of being on my dad's shoulders. I'm a good guy and gentle. I like to stay in my cage to hang out, watch things going on & I don't make any trouble. I had a very good mom in the past, but because she is ill and she had to give me up. Now, I have blended nicely with my foster family, and they have fallen in love with me so much, they adopted me!! I'm so happy to say I have a place called 'real home'. Hi! I'm Otis - a Sun Conure who loves women and hanging out. I can be loud, I'm a Sun Conure after all!, but I'm also very friendly. I'm currently in my third home, my first home gave me up due to my noise, and then my second family surrendered me to a shelter because I wouldn't stop picking on their cat. I suppose I should be grateful that the cat didn't stand up for herself because cat scratches and bites can be deadly to birds! Anyway, I came from the shelter into Mickaboo and am now in a loving foster home.
