Ola! My name is Pedro, a Scarlet macaw about 14 years old. My owner died and his elderly mother tried to care for me and my other bird friends but decided I need a chance for a better life. So here I am - waiting for that life to get started. I'm in a Mickaboo foster home and have begun to show my personality. My foster mom says I am a riot - I love to have attention and say "shut up" to the other birds I hear in the house. I am in need of a good diet, a lot of showers, and TLC. I look pretty ragged now but just wait - I'm going to be blooming soon. Update: 3/26/08 Hi! It is spring and I am blooming now too. I have been under the weather but my vet recheck showed I'm headed in the right direction. With all that behind me I am ready to start meeting potential new homes. Lets have a play date.
