Erk! I mean, Hi! Erk erk erk! My foster mom says I can communicate almost anything using just that one word (Erk!). It's all in the tone of voice. And I have a lot to say! I'm a bird, y'know, and birds LOVE to fly. Sooooo, when my wings grew out, I flew away from my home. Then, when I was out in the wild, a cat got a hold of me! Honest! It was very scary! Lucky for me, someone took me to a shelter right away, and the shelter called Mickaboo right away. Because, you know, a cat bite can be fatal to a bird if we're not treated right away! Well, a kind Mickaboo volunteer took me right to the vet, who gave me a shot and medicine (YUK!). But I'm all well now, and I'm even starting to grow my tail feathers back. (That darned cat!) So if you would like a nice chatty girl cockatiel (who doesn't have a big human vocabulary, but a lot to say), ask my adoption coordinator about me! Notice: Cockatiels are flock animals, and most of them are much happier when they live with at least one other cockatiel! Because of this, unless a household currently includes another cockatiel, Mickaboo usually requires that a minimum of two cockatiels be adopted. Print this page |
