Think macaws are great but maybe too big for your taste? Take a look at me! I'm Cody, a yellow-collared macaw, one of the minis. But my personality is full-sized. I'm 7 years old and have been surrendered because my space is being taken by some human babies. It takes me a little while to warm up to a person, but once I do, I'm a sweetie who will gladly step up. In fact, one of the things I say is "up, up." I also can say "Hi" and "Want some!" That last phrase is particularly useful because I want a taste of everything. I just love to eat. I also like to snuggle and just might climb into your shirt once we are good friends. Of course, you should know that even little macaws can make some noise.
