Hello there! I'm Santiago, a very handsome Blue-Fronted Amazon. (Aren't I?) Ripe ol' 19 1/2 years old. I came to Mickaboo on Christmas Eve. 2007, a very sad boy since my owner had passed away 3 years before, and her husband didn't interact with me very much. Well, lucky me, he gave me to Mickaboo. Now I hope to become a cuddly shoulder boy again and preen your hair for you. (I'm very good at that). I'm told that I'm a very smart guy, but I'm not ready yet to step up on hand or arm, nor get head scratches. I'm trying to be a talker, but can't be understood, must learn to form my words better, maybe? I'm not a screamer either. My foster family has begun clicker training me, and say that I'm a quick learner. Notice: Due to the sometimes difficult nature of amazons, Mickaboo prefers that amazons not be a households' first parrot.
