We Adore Our Lovebirds!

Lovebirds have a zest for life, with big bird personalities in small packages.
Outfitted in beautiful colors, they rate at the very top of the cuteness scale.
Their non-stop activity keeps us laughing.
They’re opinionated and funny – like having your own personal soap opera, except cuter.
Musical cheeping fills our homes with cheer.
Always curious, these little birds like to be near the center of activity, “chatting” with their humans.
Lovebird pairs like to be near us, but are rarely shoulder birds. They prefer hanging out with their Lovebird buddies, and don't need much dedicated time and attention from humans.
When tame, single lovebirds can be sweet little shoulder birds. Singles require more attention from their humans because they see you as their mates!
Usually ravenous, so easy to feed.
You’ll never need a 'paper shredder' if you have lovebirds around.
And finally, when in pairs, we think they're perfect birds for people with busy lives.

UPDATE: We have moved to the gold country! Our new humans met us and absolutely could not let us stay in foster care. They are teaching us to explore more without running back to our cage for safety and we love to sing for them because they sing back! They even have other cockatiels that like to play with us. What more could we ask for?? Stereo sound from the brothers Scooter and Funny Head. We are 9 year old normal grey male cockatiels--Scooter is the bigger guy. Funny Head got his name because he has some funny feathers that just don't lie right on his head. We love to just be with you! We have natural curiosity and love to explore. Once we get overwhelmed with our learning, we rush right back to the security of our human. We both sing a song composed by Funny Head and it is really neat to hear us in stereo. We were seed junkies, but our foster mom converted us to pellets in a matter of days. We knew that we wanted to eat healthier! Scooter likes to test whatever you are eating, so be careful not to eat something that may harm him. Scooter likes showers,but Funny Head prefers a bath. We can't be alike in everything after all! But we are both absolutely friendly and adore anyone who gives us a head scritch. Can we charm you into the sweet sounds of the Stereo Brothers?
