Hello, we're Flora and Turquesa! I'm Flora on the left. Our early history, as it is told, was a bit rough -as in getting chased by a barking dog and living in a very small cage. Mickaboo came to the rescue and got us to a nice foster family. Well it didn't take long and we found a new home. You've got to understand that we didn't like the change at first. Turquesa and I bit hard to show that we were scared. The long car ride, a new cage, new house, and strangers! Well the nice man let us bite him all we wanted the first day. Well all that effort got us nowhere so we stopped! In a few days a new, bigger cage came and we weren't sure about that either. But, by the next day to was ours! We even see our old cage in the other room and don't want anything to do with it. Well a couple of weeks have passed and we both now sit on shoulders and will reluctantly step up, but once we're on a finger we will sit for a while before going onto the shoulder. No more panic flying away. We know that we can come out when people are around. If the cage door isn't open, we will sit on the perch next to the door and chirp to get the message across. Turquesa likes to go where he should not, but one whistle at him and a hand wave from across the room he will go back to our play area with me. We didn't like the shower at all, but when the mister arrived we sit together and enjoy the water. I think we really hit the jackpot and know our new family thinks they have too.
