UPDATE 4/1/06: "Abrikos is doing great, he totally rules the house and is very happy with us! We are considering getting rid of a new paper shredder, as Abrikos seems to take on the shredding responsibility in the house and does it with a lot of success. He loves to investigate everything new (what's inside my new purse, what we have for dinner, what that interesting document that just came in the mail - may be it tastes good). We are totally in love with Abrikos! " Hi, I am Abrikos, a sweet five-year-old sun conure. My foster parents named me Abrikos (a Russian word for apricot) because I look like one! I was rescued from a shelter, to which I was surrendered by my previous owners as they believed I was too noisy (but hey, I am a conure after all ? :). I love people, and I am tame and very funny. I love attention and if I could be with my human friends 24/7, I'd LOVE that! I enjoy my pellets, juicy fruits, and wooden toys that I can chew on. I am not too much into showers but I can tolerate them. I enjoy playing with shredded paper placed in a paper box. I like to dig through the paper and try to build tunnels! Oh, and I am a dancer too! When my foster mom sings my favorite songs and claps her hands ?- I dance for her, and I would dance for you, too!" Print this page |
