My name is Charlie and I'm a Mitred Conure. I was out flying around one day when I heard about Mickaboo's most plucked bird contest, so I flew on over and found a kind volunteer to take me in, and I think I won first place. But hey, who needs feathers when you've got personality plus. I step up. I'm a very polite bird and always say "Good morning, Charlie!" when I get uncovered, I say "Good night, Charlie!" when it's time for bed, and of course I tell you I'm a pretty bird because I do still have my gorgeous red head. I also enjoy a good chuckle. I know, I know -- it's all about me, but hopefully someone out there will be so busy laughing with me when they meet me, that they won't miss a few old feathers.
