Molly Malone used to live with a family. His person was a young girl who really loved him. When he became sick, her family couldn't afford his medical care, so she called Mickaboo and asked for help. One of our volunteers drove to meet her mother to pick up Molly Malone and take him to a vet. Molly cannot hold his head up straight without help, but he loves to be cuddled in his foster mom's hand. He is very ill, and will not get better. An important part of Mickaboo's mission is to care for all of the birds that have no other recourse -- no place else to go. No matter how small or how sick, their lives are important to us. Print this page |
