My feathers tell my story. I'm Joey, a white-fronted Amazon. I'm a bit smaller than some of my better-known cousins, but I'm an Amazon through and through. That means I was hatched to be full of life. But, like my feathers, my life lately has been dull. I've been imprisoned in a small, rusty cage, with no "out" time, no toys, and nothing but seeds to eat. Mickaboo to the rescue! Now my dish is full of sweet potato, egg, tomatoes, peas, papaya and pellets, oh my! I love these new tastes! And I'm gradually learning to play with toys, too. Coming out of my cage is still scary; but with gentle guidance, my confidence will grow. I need a person with plenty of patience to wait for me to take each step. If you are that person, you can watch my new feathers come in when I next moult. I know they will shine with the light of my new life! Notice: Due to the sometimes difficult nature of amazons, Mickaboo prefers that amazons not be a households' first parrot.
