Anybody who knows budgies, knows we have the perfect names! I'm Spunky (the blue one) and Chipper is green. But, honestly, do "blue" and "green" even begin to do justice to our gorgeous colors? Not much is known about us because Chipper was found as a stray and I was surrendered to a shelter with little information. My people didn't have time for me, but I am very young, so why did they get me in the first place? Oh well, that's one of the many oddities about you humans. Maybe that's why Chip and I are shy around you. We are still great fun to watch, though. I can do flips around my perch! Together, we demonstrate our talent for preening and beak wrestling. Our foster mom says that our colors, our affection for each other, and our happy chatter fill one's senses with joy! All that in two compact little bundles!
