What came first the Chicken or the Norman? That question only makes sense if you are reading about two bonded Military Macaws named Chicken and Norman. The answer is "Chicken", who is a wild caught female at least 25 years old. Her faithful buddy Norman is a hand fed male about 8. They were surrendered due to the owner's poor health. The foster mom says they are eating well after only a few days in their new environment and especially love peanuts. The mom also says they are pleasant and in beautiful feather, which generally means they have had good care. Updates on these lovely birds will be provided soon. If you have room in your life for two very beautiful macaws, please contact the Macaw Coordinator. (Chicken on left, Norman on right)
