Bobby Joe was hatched with terribly deformed legs and feet, and was never in his entire life able to stand or perch like a normal bird. We might have been able to correct his splay leg deformities if we had found him as a baby, but he came to us too old to change. He was kept safe and happy with his sister until he died from other birth defects that we didn't know of. Hey there, I'm Bobby Joe. I'm hanging out here with my sister, Billie Jean, just checkin' things out. Billie and I were hatched with similar conditions that keep us from perching or standing like regular birds, but that doesn't mean we don't get around. We just fly everywhere! We're in a big cage that is set up just for us. We're also specialists in taking life as we find it, and enjoying every day. So stop in and visit and we'll show you how it's done!
