How can you resist this adorable little innocent looking face? Seriously. . . aren't I just too cute for words? I'm 13 years old and had a wonderful lovebird mate until 3 years ago. With proper care and no major illnesses, lovebirds can easily live into their twenties. So, recently I have been living with cockatiels where I "ruled the roost." I am missing some feathers because I pluck myself a bit. Lots of attention and love might help me stop. I have some liver problems due to a former all seed diet, but I have become accustomed to eating pellets now, and love millet as a treat- even apples taste good to me. I don't readily step up for humans yet but I am handle able. I never bite either. I have a slight preference fro women but I do like the man in my house as well. I adore being talked to- so it's a must that I'm in a very visible place where I'll get a lot of interaction with my people. I have a birdie buddy I like to sleep with, and even try to feed every once in awhile. My foster family thinks I may be wanting a new friend. I was smitten with another lovebird at this home, but unfortunately she didn't want me! Do you have a lonely lovie that might want a friend? I pack light and move quickly- just let me know!
