I'm one of those shelter birds, so not much is known of my past. My behavior will tell you I've been treated nicely, though. I'm Dusty, a very friendly male cockatiel. I was stepping up from my cage after only one day with my foster dad! Not only that, but I know to bow my head to ask for scritches. Sometimes I touch a finger with my beak, but I won't bite. My beak is for eating, and I'm very good at that. I like Nutrian cakes, pellets, cheerios, oats, millet, and just about anything. You might say I'm an "instant companion." Just add your love and attention, and you'll have a friend for life! Notice: Cockatiels are flock animals, and most of them are much happier when they live with at least one other cockatiel! Because of this, unless a household currently includes another cockatiel, Mickaboo usually requires that a minimum of two cockatiels be adopted. Print this page |
