I'm called Gregory Peck because I'm tall, dark and handsome. Well, two out of three, anyway. I'm a handsome, dark grey cockatiel. While I may not be tall, I'm a doll, according to my foster mom. I came to Mickaboo by way of an animal shelter because my family was moving and couldn't take me with them. I just don't understand how they could leave me behind--I LOVE people. My very favorite thing is to stay on your shoulder as much as I can, occasionally nuzzling up for a skritch. In the present, I'm learning to eat healthy foods. Along with my daily serving of pellets, my diet includes Nutriberries, veggies and grains. Well, okay, mostly I just look at the veggies and grains, but I'm thinking about eating them. Broccoli may not be very appealing to me right now, but give me time. I'm also learning about showering--in a real shower with my foster mom. I wasn't too sure about that, to be honest, but, hey, any bird named Gregory Peck knows how to take direction (and how to please his leading lady!) Would you cast me as the star in your life story? Notice: Cockatiels are flock animals, and most of them are much happier when they live with at least one other cockatiel! Because of this, unless a household currently includes another cockatiel, Mickaboo usually requires that a minimum of two cockatiels be adopted. Print this page |
