Harold and his little friend, Maude, were brought to Mickaboo when a kind person noticed that they were matted with blood in a pet store. They had been bitten by rats also offered for sale in the store. After coaxing and coming back to check, the kind person persuaded the pet store owner to give her the injured budgies and she brought them to Mickaboo. We immediately took them to a vet. Both budgies were very ill by then. Unfortunately, Harold didn't recover and died in surgery. All life is precious. We grieve for all those we cannot save. Print this page |
