Molly here, the gorgeous Eclectus parrot. Until recently I had been living with an African Grey, a Cockatoo and my dad. We were dear to each other, my dad and I, but sad to say, we never really bonded. I guess some elationships just aren't meant to be. Recently I began getting very broody - we all have needs, right ladies? My dad took me to the vet because of my sudden change in attitude. As fate, or karma might have it, it was a good thing he did because blood tests showed a frighteningly high white cell count and I was diagnosed with Asper. This is a serious illness and my dad just wasn't equipped to handle it and surrendered me. I am on intensive treatment and will be available for adoption in a couple of months or so. I don't talk but I can be very affectionate and I have the most beautiful plumage you've ever seen. Despite my looks, I was always a little overshadowed by my companions who had the gift of gab, but I know my time to shine has come, and if you take me home I promise I'll shine for you forever.
