Update: Krissy is now the companion of another little budgie named Henry. Though Krissy is the more dominant of the two, Henry had to learn share his toys with her. However, they are now quite inseparable! They eat together, sleep together, and chirp together-how much more fun can you ask for than that! Their mom gives them spritz baths on a regular basis and talks to them all day long . . which of course they adore. They cock their little heads as if they are listening to every word she says to them. Then, in the evening, pulls their chair over to her easy chair so they can all three watch TV together in the evening. What a life! ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Whew!!! Excuse me while I calm down a little bit. Well, I should introduce myself. I'm Krissy -- as you can see from my pictures, a very cute little blue girl budgie. I came to Mickaboo from a home that also had other kinds of birds (not as cute as me, but very nice birds). Our human, for reasons that are far from clear, also acquired a kitten! Like most kittens, it thought birds were provided for it to play with! So, now you understand why I'm just now calming down. I mean, Really!!! Anyway, our human-with-the-kitten decided to transfer us to Mickaboo, which was a relief, believe me. So here I am in a foster home with other budgies, which is truly delightful. I mean, I just LOVE other budgies, don't you? So, that means I'm available to come live with you in your home. Perhaps with another budgie! Doesn't that sound just wonderful? Remember, budgies make delightful housemates -- we bring color, and lovely budgie-talk, and cheer with us. It's hard to be sad in a home with budgies. Give it a try!!! Notice: Due to the highly social nature of parakeets, unless a household currently includes a parakeet, Mickaboo generally requires that a minimum of two parakeets be adopted. Print this page |
