Benny here....thanks for stopping by! My story does not start off all that happy but it sure does have a happy ending. You see, my former owner took me to a birdie doctor because I had a pretty severe wing injury. She could not afford the care I needed to fix my wing so she asked that I (gasp!) be euthanized! Lucky for me the doctor got my owner to surrender me and immediately called Mickaboo. Of course they wanted to help and that is why I am still here today. I spent awhile in the hospital healing, mentally and physically, but now I am as good as new. My foster mom says that I am quite the chortler and that my song is very different than normal. I am not sure what normal is but I think she enjoys my song anyway. I overheard her saying that she would not be surprised if I decided to "talk" one day! She will just have to wait and see....I may wait for the perfect moment to start a conversation with her. I am on a pellet diet already so you don't have to worry about that conversion business with me. I have a cockatiel friend here in my foster home but I sure would love to have a forever home. Lets make a deal...you provide a loving home for me and I will fill your days with beautiful song. What do you think??? Hurry, call Mickaboo and ask for Benny. I am being very patient because I know that good things come to those who wait. Notice: Cockatiels are flock animals, and most of them are much happier when they live with at least one other cockatiel! Because of this, unless a household currently includes another cockatiel, Mickaboo usually requires that a minimum of two cockatiels be adopted. Print this page |
