Hello everyone! My name is Manee. I'm keeping my gender secret, but it's no secret that I'm a bright and friendly Senegal parrot, with lots of love to give, and lots of time to do it! (Since I'm ONLY two years old). I came from a great home where my humans took great care of me. They taught me that pellets and table scraps are yummy (I especially love corn, noodle, chicken bone, dried papaya, and peanuts). They taught me to enjoy a good cuddle. They taught me to step up nicely. And they taught me to say my name (I call myself "Man") and "uh-oh!" I can also wolf whistle and sing Andy Griffith. I'm even in great health, 'cuz my humans always insisted I go see a man named "the vet." Then what am I doing here? It's kinda sad. My humans' FAVORITE friend, The Lovebird, died and when they saw me they got sad thinking about The Lovebird. Sniffles I miss the little guy too. But I'm hoping someone will come take me home, who can scritch my head and tickle my belly just like I like! In return, I promise to keep you amused with my antics. It's hard to find a sweeter bird. Won't you please take me home? UPDATE: I went home! My foster dadís mom was visiting her son and fell head over heels for me (well, who wouldnít?) She contacted Mickaboo right away and filled out an application to take me home. Now Iím home with her and my new ëdadí and life is good! See? Itís not always our foster parents who fall for us and canít let us go----sometimes itís their friends and relatives!! My foster dad had motives, too. Now he will always have contact with me!
