Hi, my name is Pogo. Do you remember that show Quantum Leap? Well, one day I was flying around the house and the next minute, I was in someone's backyard with a cat using me as a play toy! I kept calling for Al to use Ziggy to figure out when I would leap again but he never showed up. Instead, some kind people appeared and scooped me up and took me to the Humane Society where they immediately called Mickaboo. A volunteer got me to the doctor who cleaned my wounds and gave me some shots and medicine and most importantly, clipped my wings!! I never want to be in that situation again, so my wings need to be clipped at all times. They named me Pogo because I bounce around my cage like I'm on a pogo stick. They think that I'm a young guy because my coloring isn't fully in yet but they aren't sure and I'm not telling. I?m a little bit tame though. I like to hide in your shirt and sit in your hand but I'm not totally used to sitting on shoulders yet. I hope that the next time I leap; it will be into your home! Print this page |
