Hi, my name is Antonio and I seem to already have had many lives, sort of like a cat. (I can't say that word out loud!) Pretty much everything that could happen to a bird has happened to me. I was munched by a cat, flew into a window, had heavy metal poisoning, got a bloody nose from a reaction to antibiotics, and I?ve even chewed on my own shoulder and made an injury worse. My hero is Indiana Jones (although I don?t remember Indy getting munched by a cat). So I?ve had an exciting life and, lucky for me, good medical care and people that were kind to me, especially these Mickaboo folks. Now I have to wear this !!*&$#!** collar for a while, until my shoulder is completely healed. Lucky for me, my foster moms think I?m such a sweet budgie that they?re giving me a forever home, which is just about the best ending any adventurer can hope for. Notice: Due to the highly social nature of parakeets, unless a household currently includes a parakeet, Mickaboo generally requires that a minimum of two parakeets be adopted. Print this page |
