UPDATE: 3/17/03 Hi! Minnie and Innie here...actually, we're called Cagney and Bogie now! Just wanted to let you know that we have a new home, and everything's going GREAT! Our new mommy gives us plenty of green stuff (it's the best!) along with other fruits and veggies, and she is very proud of our biggest accomplishment so far: we've been completely converted from a seed to pellet diet already! We're still getting settled in, but we think things are gonna work out wonderfully. Thank you so much, Mickaboo! Meet Minnie and Innie! Yes, like the mouse and the bellybutton. Weíre adorable little budgies, under a year old, who were surrendered to Mickaboo because our owner wasnít able to spend the kind of one-on-one time with us that we birds thrive under. Innie is the blue one, a boy, and more friendly than me, Minnie. Iím still just a bit more skeptical of you humans. Youíve got to admit though, seeing as how we really havenít had a chance to get comfy with a human and allow a bond of love and trust to grow yet, thatís pretty understandable. Weíre still pretty fond of seed, but we also chow down on the green stuff ñ any green stuff ñ that our foster mommy puts in our cage. And weíre still just little ones, so we each have a lifetime ahead of us to learn all of these ëgood habitsí that weíre hearing so much about lately! So if youíd like to adopt the cutest little mouse and bellybutton that you ever did see, weíll do our parts and learn whatever youíre devoted to teaching us! Call Mickaboo today! Notice: Due to the highly social nature of parakeets, unless a household currently includes a parakeet, Mickaboo generally requires that a minimum of two parakeets be adopted. Print this page |
