They say good things come in small packages and that was literally true for me. I'm Roo, a handsome white-face cockatiel. I was put in a tiny carrier and dropped off at the post office where Mickaboo has its P.O. box. Someone had found me and didn't know what to do with me until they thought of Mickaboo. Maybe a cat got me first because I had a cut on my head. I was put on antibiotics and am doing just fine now. I earned my name by being so agile and active with my toys. I eat pellets, millet and greens, among other things. I enjoy being around other cockatiels, but am a bit shy about humans, for now, at least. It seems I have little experience with people, and am not eager to change that, but I don't bite. A very patient person might convince me that people are wonderful, or I could be a good companion for another 'tiel. In either case, I would be a very special delivery to someone's home! Notice: Cockatiels are flock animals, and most of them are much happier when they live with at least one other cockatiel! Because of this, unless a household currently includes another cockatiel, Mickaboo usually requires that a minimum of two cockatiels be adopted. Print this page |
