Hello! The blue Cookie Monster is back! I've been in Mickaboo before in 2005 when my very long time owner of thirty years died. Now about the "Monster" part of my name - I was a regular attack bird with my first owner and protected her and our home. My new mom dropped off that part of my name, but it is an important part of my history. I went to a foster home with a lot of other birds and my foster mom took very good care of me and decided to adopt me. Unfortunately, I didn't choose to adopt her and all her other birds, and I am unhappy. She is the person writing this story for me and she loves me and gives me the best of everything. I show her every day that I don't want to be there: I try to bite her hand. I won't let her touch me. I attack the perch stick when it is time to come out for exercise or a bath. Most of the time I just sit - I am a very quiet bird, chewing on a toy from time to time or ringing my bell. I am now 42 years old and she finally decided I should live my life in a less competitive environment where I can get most of the attention like I used to have before my other owner died. When the bird groomer came the other day I really showed my mom what was up. I've only seen this person once before and both times I stepped right up on her hand and let her scritch my head. My mom was sad because I would never let her do that with me. So she told me, we will look for a home like you used to have, where you are number one, and can eat at the table with your new family, and don't have to compete for attention with lots of other birds. In the time with my new mom, I have become very healthy and beautiful. I have gone to the vet for regular check ups and despite my age am in good condition. If you are looking for a gorgeous Blue Front Amazon that would love to be number one in your life please contact the amazon coordinator, who is also my mom.
