Lovebirds seem to busting out all over this year and we are just two of the many currently available from Mickaboo. While we are not any more needy or special than the rest of the birds currently on the site we are simply the most fortunate to have been chosen as June's featured birds! We are quite irresistible once you get to know us. We are pudgy little birds with bundles of energy. Flitting here and there checking out every inch of our cage keeps us busy most of the day. We would love to be able to spend more time outside of our cage---with our wings clipped for safety, of course! We're very curious and love to investigate everything around us----including other birds and their cages. If you adopt us you will have to keep a watchful eye on us to make sure we don't get into any mischief! We're learning to eat pellets and fresh foods though it's been a long haul for us in that area. Pellets and veggies are the way to go to keep us healthy and increase our longevity. Toys are a must. They keep our active little minds, and bodies, busy when our foster mom is busy and can't play with us. Our chitter-chatter is quite delightful, and we're not as loud as many birds, but occasionally our squawks can be a little high-pitched. If you have room in your heart, and home, for two little imps then we may just be the perfect birds for you. Won't you please think about it? Print this page |
