UPDATE: 10/26/2007 - You can read the blog that my foster parents write for me here: http://herkimers-journal.blogspot.com/ Yo! Name's Herkimer (pronounced Hoykamuh or Hoyk for short)! I'm named after some place in upstate New York that specializes in crystals called "Herkimer diamonds". I'm kind of a diamond myself - but definitely unpolished and in the rough, if you know what I mean. I've spent my time in the mean streets and have a dangling wing and blind eye to prove it. Somewhere, somehow, a moving vehicle and I collided and I definitely got the worst of it. My life hasn't been all that easy and I can't tell you the last time, if ever, anybody loved me. I have NY attitude in a big way - and no one has gotten close enough to tell if it is real or just bluff. Wanna try? Wanna a piece of me before I get a piece of you? Ok, lets get real. I am a broken guy with a brave heart and I'm looking for a soft place to fall. If somebody would just take a chance on me, give me some time in a clean safe place, some good food and a few toys, I might surprise you and become a happy little dude. And then again I might just give you some hassle from time to time. Just kiddin' - invite me over!
