Hello! I am Stella, a sweet, shy and very lovely Orange Wing Amazon, who has reached the half century mark in age. It is impossible to confirm after all these years but someone said I used to live in a Children's Zoo and when it closed began a life of uncertainty. I had the good fortune of finding Mickaboo and my dismal life has improved tremendously. My foster mom took me to the vet and I had quite a few issues resulting from long term neglect but I am all better now. I enjoy coming out of my cage during the day and sitting for hours on my rope perch just looking out the window. I will step up for my foster mom and have very good manners but I am still afraid to let anyone pet me. I am a quiet bird as long as I am let out of my cage during the day to hang out. In the past I was left in a very small cage and never allowed to come out. Now that I have a taste of the good life theres no going back. I don't speak human but my foster mom heard me whisper "hello" very quietly so I am coming out of my shell. I can grace your home, accept your love and good care with gratitude, and give back so much more. Please take a chance on me.
