Bird Toon of the Day - November 19, 2023
Animal Crackers: Slight oversight on the part of the architect, methinks.
Diamond Lil: Not much of an improvement in the situation.
Animal Crackers: Slight oversight on the part of the architect, methinks.
Diamond Lil: Not much of an improvement in the situation.
The Other Coast: Yeah, good luck with that, LOL.
Diamond Lil: And now the moment you've all been waiting for (or dreading, depending on your point of view) ... the annual Thanksgiving turkey story arc, which cartoonist Brett Koth does so well.
Dogs Of C-Kennel: Wheeler fools a vulture, then turns it into a pickup.
Diamond Lil: And before we begin the annual Thanksgiving story arc at the Happy Giblet Turkey Farm tomorrow ... a public service announcement.
Argyle Sweater: Why vultures make lousy coroners.
Strange Brew: Hint .. it goes "boom" and then you're Pilgrim dinner.
Cheezburger: The Royal Shakesbird Society ... avian drama on a budget.
This comes from the Cartoon A Day website, where cartoonist Bryant Arnold showcases his work. This was one of his Thanksgiving-themed ones from 2011.
Speed Bump: Well, it is a pretty strange hobby for a penguin.
Loose Parts: Marcel Marceau wih feathers.
Lio: Some birds don't want to be watched.
Bound & Gagged: Won't work, Mr. Turkey ... sometimes ham is on the Thanksgiving menu.

Diamond Lil: With this strip's annual turkey story arc set to begin on Friday, I wanted to get one more non-Thanksgiving entry in now. This involves Stupid The Bird making a typical bonehead move that underestimates Lunchbox's strength.
Half Full: And now for some good motivational advice.
Mother Goose & Grimm: Equally good questions. It probably has to do with changing back from Daylight Saving Time.
Prickly City has a happy ending from yesterday ... for everyone except the grocery shoppers.
Rhymes With Orange: Life in avian suburbia.
Prickly City is a daily comic strip which reacts to the current political scene using the characters of Carmen, a young conservative woman, and Winslow, a coyote pup whose liberal responses to her often create the strip's humor. This is the first of two strips from last year in which Carmen (as has been happening often in recent years) finds herself at odds with her political leanings as the pair deal with a panicked turkey.
